The tour also visited Manchester and Glasgow last week ahead of the release of Hook’s third book, also entitled Substance, in October.

The ‘Substance’ albums both compiled various singles cuts from Joy Division and New Order, released separately in the summers of 1988 and 1987 respectively.

The tour will be taken to North and South America later this year, but not before a book tour when Hook will be interviewed and chat to fans in Gateshead, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bath, Oxford, Birmingham, Leeds, Ilkley Literature Festival, Manchester and London before finishing at the Chester Literary Festival on October 14th.
