The 20th anniversary reissue of Suede‘s 1996 album ‘Coming Up‘ will come with various bonuses on September 30th.

A 4CD/DVD deluxe version has b-sides, previously unreleased demos, monitor mixes, a 1996 concert, TV performances, band interviews and a 36-page book featuring contributions from Brett Anderson all included, and there’s a new 10″ single available too containing ‘Together‘, ‘Asda Town‘ and ‘Bentswood Boys‘.

One of the most popular albums of 1996, ‘Coming Up’ went to number one in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize the next year while the single ‘Beautiful Ones‘ became one of the band’s signature anthems.

The re-release comes after Suede put out the latest studio LP of their reunion, ‘Night Thoughts‘, at the start of this year – Anderson has said of it:

“It’s an album about fear and love and loss. The film we have made mirrors those themes to create an interlocking suite of songs and images about the drama of the everyday.”
