Pixies do like a bit of the Brixton Academy.
Not content with the two nights there in November, the band have now added a third gig on December 6th. Shows in Cardiff and Birmingham also newly join a European tour which opens in Germany and has previously announced UK concerts in Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester on sale now.
This’ll all help the band’s new album ‘Head Carrier‘, which is released on September 30th after sessions at London’s Rak Studios. “This was a wonderful luxury, for us to have the time to be able to really work these new songs out,” drummer David Lovering has said.
“By the time we started recording, we all knew the songs backwards and forwards, so it took half as long for us to make this album as it did to make ‘Indie Cindy’.”
