There’s a lot going on this week to mark the anniversary of Oasis‘ record breaking two-night run at Knebworth Park 20 years ago, and the band have got in on the reminiscing too.

Held on August 10th and 11th 1996, the two shows remain one of the most in-demand music events in British history, and are widely seen as the crowning glory of the era’s media driven Britpop movement.

Oasis took to the stage barely a year on from the release of their monster hit album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?‘, which was busy going global thanks to equally huge singles such as ‘Wonderwall‘ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger‘.

In typical fashion though, Liam and Noel Gallagher, with Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White, were already looking ahead to what else was hurtling down the runway and thus found room in the setlist for a couple of what were then new, unreleased tracks.

My Big Mouth‘ was one of those, and has been picked to lead an anniversary video complete with previously unseen aerial footage.
