Hooton Tennis Club will take their minds off recording a new album when they begin a UK tour in Leeds on October 26th.
As ‘Highest Point In Cliff Town’ waits for a successor, the band recharge their live batteries through to November 16th at the London Garage, and briefly resume in December at IWF in Liverpool.
We sat down with the band at this year’s South By Southwest Festival, and were told all about the latest music scene coming out of Liverpool.“It’s great everyone can hear your music, but you don’t get any money from it,” they said of the modern industry. “The business hasn’t found a good way of exploiting the technology for money.”
“There’s that many free places where people can listen to music, that promote this idea that music is this free thing that people don’t have to pay for.”
