Asylums are making their post-release intentions known and will tour their debut album ‘Killer Brain Waves‘ in October.

Opening at Hackney Wonderland on October 16th, the band will park up in Southend, Salford, Oxford, Bristol, Brighton, Leicester and Birmingham during the headline stint, ending at the West End Centre in Aldershot on October 29th.

“The album is not all anger, spittle and alienation though,” our review reads. “‘Killer Brain Waves’ is also chock-full of tongue-in-cheek moments – Asylums are certainly not a band who take themselves too seriously. The song titles alone; ‘Wet Dream Fanzine’, ‘Monosyllabic Saliva’, tell us as much.”

“But it’s when the band get angry and rail against modern day society and its negatives that they really hit full stride.”
