Two London gigs announced by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

With the next single from their 2016 album ‘PersonA‘ coming up for release, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have signalled their intention to return to the UK for the first time in over two years in August.

The shows both come at the Islington Assembly Hall in London (tickets on sale this Friday), on August 15th and 16th, part of other European dates which include gigs at Green Man and Rock En Seine in Paris.

Before the release of the ‘Free Stuff‘ single on August 12th, mainman Alex Ebert has been explaining the more collaborative approach undertaken by the band on ‘PersonA’. “We had long been a social experiment first, musicians second,” he’s said.

“Over time, though, we were emerging, by virtue of hours spent, into a group of musicians who could really play together.”
