Jamie T‘s video for new single ‘Tinfoil Boy‘ has been posted online, directed by Tom Beard and using a narrative driven by selfies.
The track was premiered on BBC Radio 1 last week and is another product of the collaboration between Jamie and his co-producer James Dring. It continues a period of increased activity after his five-year break between ‘Kings & Queens‘ and 2014’s ‘Carry On The Grudge‘ which continued last year with the ‘Magnolia Melancholia’ EP.
Jamie T had plenty to say when he returned to the music scene in 2014, and declared the industry he was making a comeback in as ‘dire’.
“As for being relevant in the modern age, well you grow up as an artist so your music is always going to change and you hope it’s relevant, but I don’t want to worry too much about that because most of the shit around today is dire,” he told Faster Louder.
