Asylums reveal ‘Second Class Sex’ from debut album

Asylums have revealed more of their debut album ‘Killer Brain Waves‘ before it’s out on July 29th through latest single ‘Second Class Sex‘.

The band’s debut LP is heading for release hot on the heels of various singles and EPs during the past 18 months. Of the debut EP ‘Wet Dream Fanzine’, we said:

“Plenty of powerful riffs coupled with swaying melodies and drums that sound like a raging maniac must be on the sticks. But don’t worry, there’s no overproduction here. The music is straightforward; kill the lights and turn the volume up to ten. Put all this together with vocals and lyrics that add a punk rock sound to a touch of pop that’s just noticeable enough to imagine a knowing wink from the band, and to say this EP sounds ‘energetic’ is a classic understatement.”

“‘Wet Dream Fanzine’ finishes fast and leaves you waiting for more. Mission accomplished.”

Catch Asylums at festivals including Brownstock and Tramlines this month, as well as shows at the Copper Rooms, Coventry and the Lexington in London.
