Pulled Apart By Horses have completed work on their fourth studio album, guitarist James Brown has revealed.

Writing on Instagram, Brown praised the work of producer Ross Orton and also declared it their ‘best record yet’.

The album is set to follow 2014’s ‘Blood‘ and will be the band’s first since the departure of drummer and founding member Lee Vincent last year.

“Life has pulled me in a different direction to my fellow Horses and the life of a touring musician just isn’t for me any more,” he said at the time. “I’m immensely proud of everything we’ve achieved and the music we’ve created together, and I look forward to witnessing the next phase of PABH with my good friend Tommy filling the drum stool.”

Pulled Apart By Horses return to the Reading/Leeds Festival in August, playing the Festival Republic Stage with fellow Loiners Eagulls.
