It was a weekend of course dominated by Kasabian helping their club and its fans celebrate winning the Premier League title at the home of Leicester City. But the two King Power Stadium shows also had some more than adequate support, and on the Saturday Live4ever’s Gary Mather caught Blossoms doing their thing at the party.

It was a good opportunity for the band to air their self-titled debut album to a new audience ahead of its release on August 5th after recording sessions at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios with producers Rich Turvey and Coral frontman James Skelly.
“All the songs are very personal to me as they’re about my relationships,” frontman Tom Ogden has said of it. “I tend to write my best lyrics when I’m miserable and heartbroken, but placing that over music that’s very melodic, very pop, but with our own strange twist.”
