The mud has barely begun to dry after Coldplay wrapped up this year’s festivities, but as ever thoughts are immediately turning to who will next headline Glastonbury.

Guns N Roses have been quickly installed as favourites by William Hill at 8/11 after Slash and Duff McKagan returned to the fray earlier this year, while Kasabian are next up for a second bill topping performance on the main stage.

There’s short odds too for Foo Fighters despite their current hiatus after their 2015 booking was cancelled when Dave Grohl suffered an on stage accident, and the Stone Roses – whose own headline gig was scuppered twenty years earlier – are at 2/1 with Radiohead.

It’s probably worth looking back a year to see how accurate these odds might be; eventual Friday night headliners this year Muse were the favourites, whereas Coldplay had odds as wide as 25/1 and Adele was 66/1.

2017 Glastonbury headline odds:

Guns N’ Roses (8/11)
Kasabian (5/4)
Radiohead, The Stone Roses (2/1)
Foo Fighters (3/1)
Ed Sheeran (4/1)

Red Hot Chili Peppers (6/1)
Rihanna (7/1)
Bruce Springsteen (8/1)
Calvin Harris (8/1)

Justin Bieber (12/1)
Justin Timberlake (12/1)
