It was a particular treat for rock fans of various kinds last night on Later…With Jools Holland as Tame Impala, Biffy Clyro and James Blake all made live appearances.

There was a glorious cut too from Michael Kiwanuka as the long running BBC series continued.

Biffy Clyro were on one of their first live outings behind the upcoming ‘Ellipses‘ album, and aired its lead track which the band have described thus: “‘Wolves Of Winter’ is about us being wolves on a patch and if you come onto that patch, we’ll tear you limb from limb.”

James Blake was also giving an early live taste of his recent album ‘The Colour In Anything’ with ‘Radio Silence’, while Tame Impala were doing the opposite; revisiting last year’s ‘Currents‘ LP on ‘The Less I Know The Better‘.
