More new material from the Stone Roses is expected as early as this evening.

Music copyright site PPL’s listing of a song entitled ‘Beautiful Thing’, thought to be around seven minutes in duration, has only increased speculation that a second single to emerge from the band’s London recording sessions with Paul Epworth is just around the corner.

The Stone Roses returned with their first taste of new material in two decades, and first since their 2011 reunion, last month with ‘All For One‘, a song that received its live debut this week as they warmed up for a summer of high profile gigs.

Four nights at the home of Manchester City FC are due next week with chief support Public Enemy, while they play Madison Square Garden in New York City at the end of this month.

There’s an outdoor gig in Ireland too, and a headline booking at Scotland’s T In The Park festival in July.
