Slaves and Blossoms have been invited along to Kasabian‘s Premier League title winning parties at Leicester’s King Power stadium this weekend.

The two bands will be the main support on May 28th and 29th as Kasabian celebrate their home city’s unlikeliest of 5,000-1 title victories earlier this month.

“This has been an unbelievable year for the city and it seemed like the perfect thing to do this summer,” Serge Pizzorno has said. “We cannot wait to throw the city the greatest party they have ever seen.”

Kasabian play the Bridlington Spa Royal Hall tomorrow night (May 24th) and Swindon’s Oasis Centre on the 26th to warm-up for the big stadium gigs. Speaking to the BBC, Pizzorno has also said Leicester City’s success has been rubbing off the band’s new material.

“It’s bound to in some way seep into the music you know,” he remarked. “In some ways because it has been such a big six months. I’m in the studio at the moment experimenting. It’s inevitable that creatively it will rub off on you in some way.”
