Jeff Buckley’s Smiths cover still leads UK Vinyl Singles Chart

Vinyl Singles Chart

Jeff Buckley‘s cover of The Smiths‘ ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’ – a part of the posthumous ‘You and I‘ album – remains at number one on this week’s UK Vinyl Singles Chart.

There’s plenty of to-ing and fro-ing and climbing further back, though Muse and Manic Street Preachers are other non-movers in the Top 5.

Dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company last year in recognition of the continuing resurgence of the traditional format – the singles chart is compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
