Jake Bugg will have another set of UK and Ireland tour dates in the autumn after the release of third album ‘On My One‘.
In the weeks after festival appearances at Splendour In The Grass, Sziget and more, Bugg is planning more headline shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, London and Dublin by November 5th.
The Nottingham songwriter made his latest single ‘Love, Hope and Misery’ available as a download last week to those who pre-order ‘On My One’. “I wanted something with an epic pop chorus because I hadn’t done anything like that before,” he said of the track. “Along the lines of Harry Nilsson, or Bill Withers.”
“The best thing was we actually got in Bill Withers’ drummer, James Gadson. He’s my favourite drummer so to have him playing on this record was a personal highlight.”
