The Enemy will extend their lifespan by an extra couple of weeks in order to squeeze in two more shows to their farewell UK tour.

Details of the Last Orders tour were confirmed this week after frontman Tom Clarke had earlier announced the band’s intention to split via a post on Facebook, and two more hometown gigs have now been added to the series of goodbyes which start at the Manchester Ritz on September 15th.

With a gig arranged at the Coventry Empire two days later, the band now plan on returning on October 7th and 8th.

“As we stand on stage for the last few times on this tour, I’ll be cherishing the last fleeting moments of a decade that has shaped who we all are, bands and fans alike,” Clarke said in the Facebook post. “We all know what we’ll be sharing.”

“Come, bring your hearts, bring your lungs and leave with our songs, take them onto the streets and into your lives and keep them alive for us forever.”
