Seasick Steve to play ten-year anniversary show in London

Seasick Steve

Seasick Steve will celebrate ten years since his debut solo album ‘Dog House Music’ and the breakthrough performance on Jools Holland’s ‘Hootenanny’ of 2006 with a show at the Wembley SSE Arena later this year.

The gig on October 14th will be the blues musician’s only UK gig of 2016. “When I realised it was going to be 10 years since I was on Jools’ show, and 10 years since you guys gave me this job I decided that we gonna have a party,” Steve says. “A ’10 Years Out of The Dog House’ Party.’ Look what ya’ done!”

After the New Years performance for Jools Holland, second solo album ‘I Started Out With Nothin and I Still Got Most Of It Left‘ carried that momentum to a peak of #9 on the UK charts in 2008, while most recent LP ‘Sonic Soul Surfer‘ equalled his career-high of #4.

Tickets for the London show go on general sale from April 15th.
