Johnny Marr has become a part of Glasgow’s Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park on Friday, August 26th as the ‘full supporting line-up’ for headliners Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds which was primed earlier this week begins to take shape.
Marr, once described by Gallagher as ‘the first Oasis fan’, will join up again with his fellow Manchester icon after they shared a bill on two occasions last year in their home city, while Marr also lent his considerable guitar talents to the second High Flying Birds album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘.
“‘The Dying Of The Light’ holds back where ‘If I Had a Gun’ burned out, easing through close to six minutes with a commendable restrain,” our album review reads.
