Band Of Horses will release their new album ‘Why Are You OK‘ in June through Virgin/EMI.

It was produced by Jason Lytle, with additional work from Rick Rubin and Dave Fridmann, and is being previewed with a lyric video for ‘Casual Party‘ which can be seen here.

Frontman Ben Bridwell gave some details of the writing process last month to EW, revealing a lot of work went on at home as he adapted his life in a band with an expanding family.

“I didn’t have the opportunity, like I used to, to kind of squirrel away in some cabin or a beach house,” he said. “I work all night and then take them to school in the morning,. I’m the scariest dad in the school, I’m sure.”

“I didn’t want to just pander to our previous records or maybe even our most fruitful period. But at the same time I definitely attempted to tap into a lot of that stuff throughout.”

Band Of Horses play Glastonbury in June and also have two nights booked at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire in July.
