The Maccabees will warm-up for their first major UK headline performance with two summer UK shows.

Just before topping the 2016 Latitude Festival along side The National and New Order, the band will iron out any live creases at Cardiff’s Y Plas on July 13th and Liverpool’s O2 Academy a day later.

“Latitude is the first major headline slot in our fourteen year existence and the culmination of the year spent touring ‘Marks To Prove It’,” The Maccabees said when their Latitude booking was announced earlier this month.

“We’re intending on it being a celebration of it all. See you there.”

“Following the incredible success of our tenth edition last year, we had set the bar high for this year’s festival; we have a debut headline performance from The Maccabees to look forward to, which I’m really excited about and as always, the arts offering is set to be incomparable,” founder Melvin Benn added.

Latitude is held at Henham Park in Suffolk between July 14th-17th.
