PJ Harvey to headline Eden Sessions in June

PJ Harvey is to headline Eden Sessions in Cornwall on June 27th.

She’s one of the few acts to have been officially confirmed for Glastonbury this year, while this Eden Sessions booking adds to other festival appearances at Primavera Sound, Open’er and elsewhere.

PJ Harvey releases her new album ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project‘ on April 15th, inspired by journeys to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington D.C. during the time since 2011’s wonderful ‘Let England Shake‘ LP.

“When I’m writing a song I visualise the entire scene,” she’s explained. “I can see the colours, I can tell the time of day, I can sense the mood, I can see the light changing, the shadows moving, everything in that picture.”

“Gathering information from secondary sources felt too far removed for what I was trying to write about. I wanted to smell the air, feel the soil and meet the people of the countries I was fascinated with.”
