Pete Doherty has added two more solo shows to the UK tour he is due to start in Bristol on May 11th.

With the gig at Glasgow Barrowland already sold-out, an additional Scottish show has been arranged at the Aberdeen Garage on May 14th, while a new date has been lined up for Newcastle too.

Despite his much more permanent return to The Libertines since 2014, Doherty is pressing on with recording a follow-up to his 2009 debut solo album ‘Grace/Wastelands‘.

This tour also visits Manchester and has two nights at the Hackney Empire in London. Tickets for the new Aberdeen and Newcastle gigs go on sale from this Wednesday (March 23rd).

Doherty will be appearing with Libertines bandmate Carl Barat at John Cale’s performance of the classic ‘Velvet Underground & Nico’ album at Philharmonie de Paris on April 3rd.
