Emily Eavis has given some more details on the tributes being planned for David Bowie at this June’s Glastonbury festival.

The icon, who passed away in January, was responsible for one of Glastonbury’s most celebrated headline sets in 2000, and it was reported last month that the performance would be replayed in full this year.

Eavis has now spoken more about tributes in the pipeline, hinting that some of Bowie’s band who performed along side him 16 years ago may return.

“We’re doing several tributes to David Bowie,” she told BBC 6Music (quoted by The Evening Standard). “We’re in the middle of it at the moment. We’re speaking to several members of his band who played here with him in 2000 and everybody’s got lots of ideas.”

“We’re trying to do something that is in keeping with him and us and his history here. So it’s not going to be a massive all-star tribute, but it’s going to be something really personal and something that will mean a lot to people here.”
