Catfish & The Bottlemen will release their second album ‘The Ride‘ on May 27th.

Fresh from winning British Breakthrough at last month’s Brit Awards, a reflection of the mainstream prodding appeal of 2014’s debut ‘The Balcony‘, the band are ready to unleash the results of recording sessions in Los Angeles with former Oasis cohort Dave Sardy.

“I feel like everybody started thinking too outside the box trying to be arty and different,” says frontman Van McCann. “We wanted to stay inside the box.”

“I always say if you can play it on an acoustic guitar and win over a bar or a kitchen even of rowdy people then you’ve done it. That’s how I see song writing.”

UK tour dates start Mon 4th at the Glasgow Academy and visit Halifax, Southend, Doncaster, London and Brighton in April.

‘The Ride’ tracklist:

‘7’
‘Twice’
‘Soundcheck’
‘Postpone’
‘Anything’
‘Glasgow’
‘Oxygen’
‘Emily’
‘Red’
‘Heathrow’
‘Outside’
