Alex Turner has suggested two more studio albums could be in the offing from his Last Shadow Puppets partnership with Miles Kane.

Early next month, the pair will bring an eight-year gap between albums to an end when ‘Everything You’ve Come To Expect‘ is released but, in talking about more new releases during an interview with Chris Evans on the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show this morning (March 23rd), Turner has intimated the wait for a ‘trilogy’ or even ‘four-part drama’ could be a much shorter affair.

“We’re either going to make it a trilogy or a four-part drama,” he said. “I haven’t decided yet.”

“I don’t think I’ve been on Breakfast Radio 2 before,” he continued. “Does this mean I’m not as wayward and unpredictable as I was when they kept me after the watershed? Dunno how I feel about it.”

The Last Shadow Puppets were confirmed for Lollapalooza today, as were headliners Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem among others.
