The Boxer Rebellion confirm new album ‘Ocean By Ocean’

Boxer Rebellion

The Boxer Rebellion‘s fifth studio album ‘Ocean By Ocean’ has been set for release on April 29th.

The follow-up to ‘Promises‘ is being previewed with the album track ‘Keep Me Close‘ below, ‘about opening yourself up’, according to frontman Nathan Nicholson.

“About the leap you take when you give yourself over, unwaveringly, to someone else. It’s about letting yourself be judged, about being open to change to be closer to someone.”

It’s the band’s first with new guitarist Andrew Smith, and will be taken out live on a European tour later this year.

“It’s about meeting someone special but at the wrong time in your life,” Nicholson has continued on planned first single ‘Big Ideas‘. “You feel lucky to have met them but also, because of the bad timing, like you have the very worst kind of luck.”
