Tame Impala, Catfish & The Bottlemen win at 2016 Brit Awards

Tame Impala

Tame Impala won International Group and Catfish & The Bottlemen British Breakthrough Act at the 2016 Brit Awards on a night which was predictably dominated by Adele.

Catfish & The Bottlemen can thank the listeners of BBC Radio 1 for their prize, while Tame Impala came out ahead of Eagles Of Death Metal, Major Lazer, U2 and Alabama Shakes in their category. Later in the evening Annie Lennox, actor Gary Oldman and singer Lorde led a tribute to the late, great David Bowie.

The ceremony took place in London and was hosted by Ant & Dec.
