Muse got really dramatic once their ‘Drones’ world touring started in earnest last November in Mexico, but the new video for album track ‘Reapers‘ takes us back to the simpler times of June 2015 and a gig in Cologne, Germany – have a watch below.
Since the footage for this video was filmed the band have been offering fans, as they call it, a ‘true 360 degree audio/visual sensory experience’. “It spans the length of the arena,” production designer Oli Metcalfe told NME of the stage set-up.
“It’s quite narrow but more importantly for the audience it’s low, so the band will be playing in an intimate space, and have a good relationship in terms of distance from their audience.”
The lavish production has been going to arenas and stadiums around the world, and will return to the UK in April for tour dates which include no fewer than four nights at the O2 in London.
