Alabama Shakes dominated the specialist Rock and Alternative categories at last night’s Grammy Awards.

While Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Mark Ronson grabbed the headlines in picking up the evening’s main prizes, Alabama Shakes took Best Alternative Music Album for their second studio LP ‘Sound & Color‘. They were up on stage giving acceptance speeches for other awards too, including Best Rock Song.

In the same section, Muse landed Best Rock Album thanks to ‘Drones‘. Elsewhere, the posthumous Amy Winehouse documentary Amy – whose makers are currently working on a brand new film about Oasis – won Best Music Film.
