Both Slash and Duff McKagan have been confirmed to rejoin Axl Rose and Guns N Roses for the band’s headline performance at Coachella in April, reports Consequence Of Sound.

After rekindling their friendship last year, the festival appearance will mark the first time in over two decades that Axl Rose and Slash have performed together, however the anticipated full reunion for the band’s celebrated ‘Appetite For Destruction‘ line-up doesn’t appear to have come to fruition, though guest spots for Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler are being predicted too.

Instead, the old trio of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will be joined by the much more recent ‘Chinese Democracy‘ figures of keyboardist Dizzy Reed, multi-instrumentalist Chris Pitman, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer.

Guns N Roses are headlining Coachella along side Calvin Harris and another returning US act for 2016, LCD Soundsystem, whose leader James Murphy has confirmed a new album is in the works for this year.
