Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem and PJ Harvey will lead this year’s Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona between June 2nd-4th.
Radiohead’s booking informs their live return ahead of an expected new album release any time now, and they’ll also be playing Switzerland’s OpenAir St. Gallen and Portugal’s NOS Alive this summer.
Primavera Sound has another impressive line-up for gig-goers, with The Last Shadow Puppets, Tame Impala, Animal Collective, Suede and Sigur Rós some other standout names along with Beach House, Brian Wilson, Titus Andronicus, Savages, Protomartyr, Parquet Courts and plenty more.
The clamour for a new album went into overdrive earlier this month when keen Radiohead fans spotted a company named Dawn Chorus LLP had been set up last October – mirroring what the band have done ahead of the release of their two previous LPs, ‘In Rainbows‘ and ‘The King of Limbs‘.
