Radiohead announce another summer festival booking

Radiohead‘s return to the live scene through a succession of festival bookings for 2016 has continued.

The band will be at Summer Sonic in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan this August to headline for the first time since 2003, leading other new names included on the bill which include Two Door Cinema Club, Underworld, Weezer, The 1975 and Rat Boy.

Radiohead have already confirmed appearances at Primavera Sound, NOS Alive in Portugal and Switzerland’s OpenAir St. Gallen event ahead of a new album release which is expected anytime now.

Indeed, fans have been on tenterhooks since it was spotted earlier this month that a new company was registered in the name Dawn Chorus LLP last October – something done by the band prior to the release of their previous two studio LPs  ‘In Rainbows‘ and ‘The King of Limbs‘.

The company is also relevant for carrying the same name as a song discussed by Thom Yorke back in 2009.
