Pulled Apart By Horses cover David Bowie’s ‘Ziggy Stardust’ for Teenage Cancer Trust

Pulled Apart By Horses have toned it down a touch and remembered the huge musical legacy left behind by David Bowie with a cover of his timeless glam rock classic ‘Ziggy Stardust‘.

It’s for the Teenage Cancer Trust too, where all proceeds will be donated once the track is released to iTunes tomorrow (January 15th).

“Along with the millions of people all over the world who’s lives he had touched, we were shocked and saddened to hear the news,” says guitarist James Brown.

“We’re all huge fans of his work, so at band practice on Monday night we decided to learn and record a tribute to him and his incredible legacy. Here is a cover of one of our favourite tracks, ‘Ziggy Stardust’.”

“All profits from the track will go to Teenage Cancer Trust which is an amazing cause. Long live The Goblin King!”

David Bowie’s death was announced on Monday after a very private, 18-month battle with cancer, and just days after the release of his ‘Blackstar‘ album.
