The Tallest Man On Earth confirms Royal Albert Hall show

Tallest Man On Earth

Kristian Matsson will mark ten years as The Tallest Man On Earth with a show at the Royal Albert Hall in London next June.

The gig is a part of the Albert Hall sessions, which will also take in performances from the likes of Lianne La Havas and Chvrches as well as hosting workshops for young people.

The Tallest Man On Earth released his most recent album ‘Dark Bird Is Home‘ in May, following the 2012 effort ‘There’s No Leaving Now’ – one of Live4ever’s essential releases of that year.

“The fact that this album does not conform to his previous work may create a divide amongst devotees of Matsson’s singer-songwriter style,” our review reads.

“It’s inevitable. But surely it’s better for an artist to experiment and to develop, expanding their palette of potential than to allow their muse to become stagnant. We should all applaud those that strive for something else.”

“The album is a triumph. Bejewelled but uncluttered. The times are a-changing.”
