Out on the road celebrating 25 years of ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches‘, the Happy Mondays arrived at London’s Brixton Academy last night (December 3rd) when Live4ever’s Alberto Pezzali captured the evening’s highlights.

The Mondays began their anniversary tour on Bonfire Night, the original line-up coming together to mark one of the crowning achievements of the late eighties/early nineties Madchester movement.
“It’s great to be doing 25 years of Pills ‘n’ Thrills,” Shaun Ryder said of the tour. “Here’s to another 25 years. I’m going to remember it this time. There’s some really great work on Pills ‘n’ Thrills. It was the album that put us on Top of the Pops.”
They now play Lincoln tonight, and still have shows due at the Cambridge Corn Exchange, the Oxford O2 Academy and finally the Llandudno Venue, Cymru on December 9th.
