The official Guns N Roses website being updated to carry the band’s ‘Appetite For Destruction‘-era logo has done nothing to quash rumours that a reunion for the classic line-up could be primed for 2016.

There’s been whispers from various sources during the last few months of this year claiming Axl Rose and Slash are ready to perform together once again after over two decades along with Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan – these including Australian promoter James Young who reportedly told TripleM:

“I heard the most amazing rumor this week, from a very well-informed heavy hitter in the Australian music industry. So what mega band could it be?”

“I heard on Wednesday night that it would be Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Slash and Axl Rose – the reformation of the original 1987 Appetite For Destruction Guns N’ Roses!”

The 2016 Coachella Festival is thought to be one of the most likely hosts for a possible reunion, so with their line-up announcement just weeks away confirmation one way or another could be imminent.
