The Stone Roses have confirmed summer outdoor shows at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and for the 2016 T In The Park festival. TICKETS
The band will play two nights at the home of Manchester City Football Club on June 17th and 18th next year, and will then headline T In The Park on Friday, July 8th.
The announcement brings to an end a day of fevered speculation surrounding the band after posters carrying their famous lemon artwork appeared in the windows of various Manchester outlets this morning (November 2nd).
Although their first live comeback feels like it’s just happened, these outdoor gigs will in fact take place a full four years after the band broke UK box office records when they returned to top Manchester’s Heaton Park in the summer of 2012.
Tickets for the Etihad Stadium dates go on sale from 9.30 am BST this Friday, November 6th. We’re going to stick our necks and suggest you’ll have to be quick off the mark…
