The Libertines have invited some intriguing support acts to join them on a UK arena tour which begins in Glasgow on January 21st next year.

Reverend & The Makers, Sleaford Mods and The Enemy are among those to have been invited along for the ride, with two bands from the pot supporting each night.

Thus, that opening night in Glasgow will take in performances from The View and Reverend & The Makers, while the latter will be joined by Blossoms for the next show in Manchester.

Sleaford Mods next join Reverend & The Makers supporting in Nottingham, before The Enemy and The Sherlocks arrive for the first time in Cardiff.

Those two bands continue in Birmingham and Bournemouth after which Sleaford Mods return to help The Enemy out at the O2 in London on the final night, January 30th.

This all helps push The Libertines’ long-awaited third studio album ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth‘, which was released in September.
