Frank Turner was with his backing band The Sleeping Souls at the Manchester Academy on Monday night (November 23rd) for an adrenaline-fuelled, emotional rollercoaster of a show which had the crowd in full voice too. Live4ever’s Gary Mather was in attendance and presents the best of the action.

Turner released his most recent solo album ‘Positive Songs For Negative People‘ during the summer, describing it at the time as his ‘definitive statement, a summation of the first five records’. The LP peaked as high as #2 on the UK charts.
Turner played two nights in Manchester after starting the tour in Wales earlier this month. It’s been a tour of ‘two nights’ with a similar set-up booked at Southampton Guildhall, Falmouth Princess Pavillion, Nottingham Rock City and Bristol Colston Hall.
It’s due to end tomorrow night at the Alexandra Palace in London.
