Time is running out on perhaps the greatest live band ever to grace rock and roll.

As The Who head ever closer to 2016 and their final year, the last incarnation of the band led by surviving members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend has been captured for prosperity and will hit cinemas for a limited time from October 7th.

The Who: Live In Hyde Park was filmed back in June, and features performances from classic albums such as ‘Who’s Next‘, ‘Tommy‘, ‘Quadrophenia‘ and ‘My Generation‘, as well as interview with Iggy Pop, Robert Plant, Johnny Marr and others.

“It’s a good gig,” Townshend says. “You draw from all over the country but a London crowd is always a good crowd. It’s a Royal Park so thank you your majesty, you can’t play it without her permission.”

After Roger Daltrey contracted viral meningitis, The Who earlier this week unveiled the details of their rescheduled North American tour.
