Leeds’ Hookworms have digitally released a new live album entitled ‘Live Vol. III’, which finds the band onstage in 2014 before the release of second album ‘The Hum‘.

It features recordings from a a two-night residency at Salford’s Islington Mill, as the group’s bassist explains:

“It was part of a full weekend of bands and food that we picked and curated. It also marked the first time we ever played The Hum live almost in its entirety, about six months before it was officially released.”

“Spending that whole weekend surrounded by amazing music and many of our friends has been one of the high points of the band so this is a nice way to honour and remember it.”

Amongst the treats on the tracklist is a cover of the Velvet Underground’s ‘I’m Not a Young Man Anymore’, which can be heard right here:

‘The Impasse’
‘On Leaving’
