Cancelling tours seems to be a much more frequent practice than it used to be, and the latest to add to this growing trend are Girl Band, who have pulled all of their remaining 2015 touring commitments due to ‘health issues in the band’.
Trouble started when a planned gig in Utrecht, Netherlands was cancelled on October 23rd, and a subsequent visit to North America and a return to the UK and Ireland which had been due to take place before the end of the year have now also fallen foul.
“We’re extremely sorry to say we have to pull all upcoming European and North American dates in 2015,” the band said on Twitter. “This is due to health issues in the band.”
“Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We would like to thank everyone who has purchased a ticket, and we hope to see you in 2016.”
