Jesse Hughes and Queens Of The Stone Age‘s Josh Homme will release their latest Eagles Of Death Metal album ‘Zipper Down‘ on October 2nd, but before then you can preview the album right here on Live4ever (via NPR).

“The new album ‘Zipper Down’ really represents to me an attitude and philosophy of life,” Hughes has sharply observed. “One should not zipper up, they should zipper down and let it all hang out.”

“In an independent study, four out of three doctors say ‘Zipper Down’ is an eargasm trapped inside a crazerbeam,” Homme adds for his part. “And I believe them. ‘Complexity’ is the musical equivalent of holding a lucky rabbit’s foot with the unlucky rabbit still attached.”

“‘Complexity’ is sort of our way of saying, ‘Keep it simple, stupid,” Hughes continues.

Sessions for the LP took place at Pink Duck Studios in Burbank, California. All songs were co-written by Hughes and Homme with the exception of the Duran Duran cover ‘Save a Prayer‘.
