Morrissey will sell (not personally, one assumes) vinyl copies of his ‘Your Arsenal‘ and ‘Vauxhall and I‘ solo albums at a pop-up store in London from later this week.
Limited signed editions of the 1992 and 1994 records will be available at ‘Morrissey’s Mporium’ – situated at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home – between September 18th-21st, 10:30am-5pm daily. The flash sale is set to neatly coincide with the singer’s gigs at London’s Eventim Apollo on September 20th and 21st.
It’s worth noting again that despite the upcoming UK tour dates, Morrissey remains without a conduit for new music after slamming the Harvest exit door firmly behind him last year just a short time on from the release of ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business‘. He subsequently labelled a lack of label interest during US dates as a ‘sad sign of the times’.
An outlet for his literary work is still open though, and he’ll be back at Pengiun for the release of first novel List Of The Lost on September 24th in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa.
