Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis already has headliners signed up for the next two years.

That’s according to BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat reporter Sinéad Garvan, who spoke to Eavis at last night’s (September 8th) AIM Independent Music Awards, when he apparently revealed four acts booked for 2016 and 2017 have previously headlined, with the other two set for bill-topping debuts.

Foo Fighters are expected to make swift amends for their cancelled 2015 headline booking in performing at Worthy Farm next June, while popstar Miley Cyrus was linked in the press last week.

Meanwhile, just after June’s festivities had wrapped up bookmakers William Hill made Muse their second favourites to headline in 2016, ahead of Fleetwood Mac and Oasis who were next up at 12/1, and AC/DC as a 16/1 shot.

Former Oasis man Noel Gallagher was also considered one of the contenders, installed with odds of 20/1 to headline in solo form.
