Brandon Flowers announces one-off London gig

Brandon Flowers will be back in the UK for a one-off solo gig next month.

Flowers plays the Shepherds Bush Empire in London on November 16th all being well – tickets are on sale from this Friday (September 25th).

We say all being well since the Killers frontman’s most recent North American tour was abruptly pulled last month due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. These ‘circumstances’ caused gigs in Charlotte, Raleigh, Norfolk, Atlanta, Orlando and Miami to be permanently cancelled.

Flowers is pressing on though after releasing his second solo LP ‘The Desired Effect‘ earlier this year. Its release came as he cursed a perceived ‘lack of drive’ in The Killers, despite plans apparently being laid with guitarist Dave Keuning for a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Battle Born‘.

“Everything is fine,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’ve been talking to Dave, and he hasn’t sounded this excited about making music in a long time. So that, in turn, makes me excited. I feel like when he’s at his best, and when we’re all collaborating, is when the Killers are at their best, and that’s what we really need.”
