There’ll be a divergent display of British rock later this year when Alt-J and The Horrors tour together starting at the Manchester Cathedral on November 28th.

“After a year touring around the world we are excited to announce that we will be finishing 2015 back in the UK,” Alt-J have said.

Mumford & Sons used their headline set at Friday night’s (August 28th) to announce a tour of the UK in November and December.

The band mixed the more uptempo feel of their recent ‘Wilder Mind’ album with the firm favourites of 2009 debut ‘Sigh No More‘ 2012’s ‘Babel‘ during the set, and have now confirmed UK tour dates starting Nottingham Capital FM Arena on November 28th.

The Maccabees will celebrate the chart-topping success of their ‘Marks To Prove It‘ album during UK dates in November 2015 and January next year.

Starting at Nottingham Rock City on November 18th, the band play nine shows that month, and then resume touring on January 15th next year at Glasgow Barrowlands. There’s a gig in Manchester on the 18th and finally two nights at London’s Brixton Academy on the 21st and 22nd.

The release date and cover design for Morrissey‘s first novel List Of The Lost have been unveiled as promised earlier last week.

The design is above, and the book will be available from September 24th on paperback in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa.

Paul McCartney will bring his Out There tour back to North America in October for five more shows.

Sir Paul has booked dates in Columbus, OH, State College, PA, Toronto, ON, Detroit, MI and Buffalo, NY across nine days in October after completing a run of European shows in Stockholm last month.

Royal Blood will provide chief support for Foo Fighters when the band returns to the UK to play rescheduled outdoor gigs next month.

Shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium were cancelled in June after Dave Grohl broke his foot during a tumble off stage earlier that month.

The Courteeners will now spend no fewer than seven nights at the Manchester Apollo in December after adding an extra two shows there today.

Having earlier announced five gigs in their hometown between December 8th-12th to go with other shows in Stoke, Lincoln, Glasgow and Newcastle, the Manchester band have now confirmed extra dates on December 18th and 19th.

The Charlatans will tour the UK in December, bringing to an end a strong year for the band which has been defined by the success of their ‘Modern Nature‘ album.

Released back in January, ‘Modern Nature’ has been widely recognised as one of the strongest albums of The Charlatans’ long career, and it’ll be aired live for a final time in 2015 across eight dates before Christmas.

‘It’s Automatic‘ – the title-track of The Enemy‘s upcoming fourth album – has been given an official video which can be seen in our full article.

“We’ve been working on it for a long time,” frontman Tom Clarke has previously said. “It’s a fucking great record. It was difficult to make but not in a bad way. To people who are still living in 2007 it’ll be a shock but to us it’s a natural progression.”
