Albert Hammond Jr. brought his latest solo album ‘Momentary Masters‘ to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (August 3rd) for a performance of ‘Losing Touch‘.

Hammond Jr. has been in his more familiar side-of-stage role with The Strokes on a (relatively) regular basis this past year or so, but has still found time to work on a first full length solo record since 2008’s ‘¿Cómo Te Llama?‘. He’s left bandmate Julian Casablancas‘ label – where subsequent EP ‘AHJ‘ found a home in 2013 – for the release of ‘Momentary Masters’ just last week.

He tours the UK in November, opening up with a gig in Oxford on the 16th before stops in Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester, Glasgow, Portsmouth, Bristol, London and Brighton. The closing date is due at Brighton’s Old Market venue on the 26th.

Tour dates:

Birmingham Hare and Hounds (19)
Leicester O2 Academy 2 (20)
Glasgow CCA (21)
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (23)
